I know a guy who's a plumber that lives in a $4 million dollar home in Vancouver but it doesn't mean he makes 7 figures a year. He was just wise about how he invested his money.

Being a pro athlete doesnt make 7 figures either (refering to your post)
There are many pro athletes that dont make 7 figures, e.g NHL, CFL, MMA, Lacross, etc...

but not any professional athlete like you said earlier..ive seen professional athletes do sales jobs on the side b/c they simply werent making enough money for a family. look at most CFl players salaries, they are professionals, and they make less than a manager at a car dealership
and lets not talk about those professional's going to the Olympics, i heard a guy had to borrow money to buy a bicycle, tough times
