Though it may be easy to tell if Pyatt is playable right now. It'll be difficult to tell if he can give 100% every game from this point in; Or even kick it up a notch higher and into over-drive like everyone is doing right now. It's Play Offs. Games just get tougher from this point and further and it's all about finding that next gear and taking it there.

It's not fair to put the blame on Price. He played well in the first and in the beginning of the second but it's Montreal as a team that hasn't shown up to play. Kovy, Metropolit and Laraque are the only Canadiens that have played with any heart in this series so far.
Montreal has to change their game plan as well, they're not going to be able to outhit the much bigger and stronger Bruins so they'll have to go back to playing their skill game. If they decide to show up and stay out of the box in game 3 they might steal one.

The Habs just are not a match for the Bruins...they try and play the same style as the Briuns and it burns them...
there out in 5 i think...
As for Tkachuck - I agree he has a good role on the Blues and him at the end of the game was veteran like..with that being said his playoff resume is terrible. He has not taken a team ever anywhere..
I much as like watching the FLames lose - what you guys think? Benefit of the doubt that they have too many good Dmen injured and that's playing a factor?? Or the Hawks have their number all season now 6-0 against them this year??
Damn Giants are losing 3-0

			Flames let is slide..
i thot they were decent at best, and what chance by the lamers in the 3rd
beantown game...wow..habs need to find a spark. Laraque is trying, Kovalev is trying..and thats it..Mike Komiserek is just being an ass and an instigator rather than fullfilling his duties
CBJ..inexperience and has run into the Osgood of the playoffs.
as for washington, they just got outplayed
as for the giants
yea Kelowna isnt a bad team either

Price hasn't won Montreal a big game for ages. His play down the stretch was mediocre and not sure what Halak can do in this series because it's not like hes had a goood season. And I'm not saying Price should take all the blame but there is no way Montreal is going to win a game in this series if Price continues to play like he's been playing over the last couple months. He lets way too many soft goals in and can't come up with that one big save to spark his team.

Canucks has the only 2 wins in the playoffs right now out of 3 Canadian teams that are in it.... kinda sad (for hockey in Canada).

You know, going around the forums on the web and reading some articles coming out of St. Louis is really making me scratch my head - why do Blues fans keep saying that Lu was the ONLY reason we won the first 2 games?!?!?!?!
"Vancouver didn't dominate us, they got lucky" (why should we? if anything the Blues should be dominating US, with their NHL-best last half of the season record)
"Vancouver had Luongo and it was the only reason they won" (how about our D, our forwards, our forechecking, our zone coverage?)
"It would've been 2-0 Blues if it wasn't for Luongo" (would've should've, whatever)
"The Canucks are relying on Lu" (uh... so a goalie makes some nice saves and all of a sudden the team is soely relying on him to win games?)
"Vancouver players are so cocky... if they didn't have Luongo they'd be nothing" (cocky? since when? Everytime I hear our players talk about the game they talk about how good the Blues are...)
Yes Lu's been hot but why is that? Our D core has been solid in clearing the front of the net and the forwards are aggressive on the PK, blocking shots and taking the passing lane away. We forechecked hard and aggressively even in the 3rd and leading, not giving the Blues much chance in moving the puck out. Forwards are covering for the D-men if they pinch and line changes have been good so far. All these things contributed to Lu's performance in the past 2 games and Lu needs the rest of the team as much as the team needs him.
Yes, Lu came up big a few times in both games but it's just STUPID to say that the whole team relied on him... This team is FAR different (better all around) than the team from 2007 where Lu literally carried us throughout the whole season and into the playoffs...
I dunno. I would LOVE to see us sweep those Blues in 4 and see what other excuses those Blues fans can come up with.
Also... why do they think they're the underdog? They've been the HOTTEST team after the x'mas break and have been hot coming into the playoffs... NO ONE is taking them lightly and no one thinks they can be easily beaten so why do they keep thinking everyone's out to get them? I find it funny to hear their players saying "oh yeah we can play with Vancouver, we're right there and in it the whole way" - well DUH, look at your record from the past 40 games, of course you are "in it", having the best record in the latter half of the season. It's like a mental game that Andy Murray has put into their heads to get them going or something... really lame. Unfortunately that won't work because we're NOT taking them lightly and you can see that everyone on the team is playing hard and contributing for the whole 60 mins instead of being too complacent.
Anyway. Rant over. I just can't stand those Blues fans and reporters for undervaluing themselves and making it seem like they're the underdog and that the Canucks are somehow under-performing. Of course we can play better, but if not playing as well as we should gave us 2 wins, I can't imaging how dominating we'd look when we actually play at 100% of the team's capacity.
Stupid Blues fans.
