I just bought this off someone...Its a Rogers E71..
But it appears its been flashed to the Asian/Euro (I dont need 3G)

The problem I have is that there isnt Traditional Chinese input and PinYin, its in Zhu Yin..

Do I just run an update via Nokia software and it'll give me the latest HK version? or
I would need to change codes

lol. well E71 had a pretty good run for 6 months. I bought my E71 when it came out for $500. It's only half as bad as my Razr couple years ago I paid $950 for pretty much the first batch and N95 for $850 which worth nothing now.

Zhu Yin is Taiwanese. change code to HK for pingying.

but if you don't need to type in Chinese but just viewing them, then you can use the North American firmware yet add the unicode with chinese for default font like I did. I think I got it from +Kardboard+?

Can someone help me get Fring working with E71 + Rogers data? Everything works perfectly on wifi, but when I connect via GoRogers it doesn't go though. I wonder if it's Rogers forcing you to use it's crappy IM app. Roger's IM app works but MSN keeps cutting out and the contact list takes minutes to load.

I've got it working. DON'T use GoRogers, use 'Rogers Internet.'
