Many of them work, but Flash 9 is not supported on the E71. Also, due to the fact that the E71's screen is landscape QVGA (320x240) rather than portrait QVGA (240x320, like the N95), some of them will look funny. Put them on your card, in "Other."

Rogers already announced the E71 the other day, but as long as it's not white, I'm happy. I was told they were getting a black (I'm assuming it's the same colour as the E71x) one by a guy who was at the launch party thing thing that they have. No wait, wasn't that Shuya80 who said that? :p

This might be a noob question, but I'm looking to get a E-71. Just wondering what the difference is between the three versions. Also what's this NAM version i keep seeing.

^^ NAM version is the the version that allows you to use 3g with rogers and fido.

E71-1 = Euro Version. Okay for North American (NAM) use but does not have the proper frequencies for 3G data.

E71-2 (NAM) = North American Edition (NAM), carries warranty from Nokia USA and has the proper NAM bands for 3G data transfer.

E71-3, I suppose this is the 3rd version you're referring to? This one has 850/2100, so it is supposed to be able to have 3G data around the world, making it a "true" world phone. Although there are some disputes regarding the 2100 frequency.


All version are available in Black/Grey or White.

So I guess the E71-3 would be the newest and best version then?

They all have WiFi. The E71-3 is the ballin', super rare one.

All of them have quad-band GSM. The E71-2 has 850 GSM and UMTS and HSDPA.
