Oh shit, I have a toaster to return

LOL :haha:

Seriously..get them a Karaoke machine, everyone at the wedding will love you for it..

winson604 07-11-2008 07:47 AM

Call it lame, call it that you put no effort into it at all but unless the couple getting married are well off money is still the best bet. We all know getting married isn't cheap. They probably want to get a house and all the other stuff that comes with being married so money is an issue. Why by a gift they might not even use, or have, or even like. Just give them a head start and give them money. Chances are the money they get will only partially help pay for the wedding itself only.

haha it all depends mang. Out of all the weddings I've attended more then 50% of the time the couple were up front and said just give us money. It all depends.

TypeRNammer 07-11-2008 08:43 PM

on a serious note, i suppose any gift works. I think a karaoke machine or a pair of mics would offend them haha, but it could also have the opposite effect. I think the best gift would be a generic gift. Get them a toaster.

hahaha, thx for the compliment...i think? :p

in addition to mangoes, maybe you can give them some Church's Fried Chicken :D

mmmk 07-12-2008 01:09 PM

should money be given in a red envelope if they are chinese/flip couple?

Kokujin 07-12-2008 02:59 PM

Fuk dude, why bump up this 1.5 year old thread... they probably have a kid by now hahahaha

But on a side note, as someone mentioned, wedding is expensive and $$ will be the most helpful to most couple.. IMO. I will be getting married as well very soon and I have been hinting family that $$ is appreciated as it will help us.. it's not about me being cheap or whatever...

Greenstoner 01-28-2010 08:48 AM

how about Ikea gift card ?? or application from Macdonlad ?
