Wedding Gift *HELP*

I need help guys, girlfriend and I will be attending my friend's wedding in August, she is phillipino and we really dunno wat to get for her and her husband. I was thinkin giving out money, but that's chinese tradition, wat about for phillinos? she is co-worker of mine and i dun really know how much is appropriate, help is needed

hahah you have to be chinese cause that's what a lot of chinese parents say about filipinos. to the stereotypical ideas

on a serious note, i suppose any gift works. I think a karaoke machine or a pair of mics would offend them haha, but it could also have the opposite effect. I think the best gift would be a generic gift. Get them a toaster.

If they aren`t registered, it probably means they want cash. I`m getting married this August, and I swear to god if I see a fucking toaster or coffee maker, I`M going to run it over about 75 times.... while the gift giver holds onto it.
