Hey guys, so i was browsing the SFU WIL website and came across this dude name Ivan Wong... The guy who sends out the BBA Current News for those who are currently in Business. He has his own website and it lists and resume, transcript, awards and some other writing work on there... I decided it'd be better to save the cash for graduate studies, where which university you choose and what university is on your resume actually matters. Or unless you're trying to get into a prestigious program at one of those universities (e.g., Harvard, Yale, or Stanford Law)--then it might be some benefit to take your undergraduate degree there (although it's not "supposed" to be a factor). Really, quality of undergraduate education is fairly standard at any reasonably established university in North America.
Now, if you're insane enough to be offered a full ride scholarship to an Ivy League University or Stanford, you would be even more insane not to take that up!
As for SFU vs. UBC, I can't say why this guy chose SFU, but when I made the choice--SFU and UBC both being paid for by scholarships, so money wasn't a factor--I chose SFU for its co-op program (much more established than UBC's, especially in the electronics engineering field).
SFU has a pretty decent reputation for its business program, though, so it's not ridiculous that he'd pick SFU.

After I upload my assignment to the winscp program, I open up my html, and its not in a url. ie http://cmpt165.csil.sfu.ca/~userid/assignment.html
*I copied my folder into public.html*
Anyone know what I should do?
