hey can anyone tell me what the hours are like at sfu ? finals are coming and I am planning on going up to study so I wanna know if I can stay for awhile because I just get too distracted when I'm at home lol and no progress is ever made

^depends on where you want to study, SFU is open 24/7, library closes at i think 11 iirc.

lib closes at 10:45-11 on weekdays btu I think liek 9 or 10 weekends. most of sfu is 24.7

well aside from the lib, where would you guys say its best to study ? I usually just go to those rows of desks lol in the AQ when I decide to study during my breaks so I was probably gonna do the same, hopefully people are not chatty lol last time I sat next to a couple or something and I was just like :fuuuuu:

Sometimes theres groups there dependign how late. I usually just go down a random side hallway in AQ and look for random desk/chair where nobody is.

I had echo yuan liao for 272 in the summer. Shes a phd student so expect "youthful" learning exercises, but also be warned about the teaching in general. (marking schemes, assignment and tests) I had an awesome gro up and TA so I quite.enjoyed the course.

Library closes at 11:45 certain days. AFAIK there's a 24 hour computer lab somewhere in the aq. Studying in old sfu buildings can get a bit dreary, so for a nice change in scenery head over to blusson hall 10000 level. Tasc1/2 are also nice, and a personal fav is WMC above timmys, always there late.

some of my favorite spots are the geography wing and grad biology lounge (here now XD)..

only cuz its always quiet and no one will steal my shit when i'm on washroom breaks

thanks for all the tips guys, I just went to my usual spot a bit passed the mckenzie cafe? it was pretty solid I got there around 7 and it was pretty quiet for most of my stay cept for when groups of fobs walked by lol

I hate those damn fob groups.. They always wear puffy garbage bag jackets.. And there's always one ugly chick with glasses in the group.

Wow fuck my life I just found out about one class that would make my schedule flow alot smoother but its fucking closed. Do closed classes ever open up again?
