| My trip to JDM land
Planning the trip to Japan wasn't really hard since my sister did everything . The plan was to take the plane from Hong Kong to Osaka, take a 2 hour bus ride to kyoto, where my sister's old home taker resides, and live at her house for a few days. Then we will head out to Kyshuu, the most southern island of Japan. I will try my hardest to remember what I did, but the pictures will do more of the talking  Day 1:
Didn't bring much really, just some underwears, 2 pairs of trunks, 2 t shirt and 2 polos, since I planned to go crazy buying in Japan :godance:. We brought like 4 suit case for 2 people!
Here is a picture of the Hong Kong air port!
The plan we were getting ready to board
The flight was around 4 hours long, it went by relatively quick since movies were playing.
YAA!! IN JDM LAND!
After getting off the plane we had to take a "little train", for a lack of better word, to the custom place.
Damn I feel welcomed!
Getting through the custom took some time since there was a long ass line up! We were checked on the way out as we brought 2 spare suit cases :bowlol:.
And away to Kyoto we go!
Here is a picture of my sister's dorm where she used to live when she was doing the exchange program.
the surroundings

When we go to the our home taker's house, she wasn't there, needless to say, we were pretty bummed, so we walked around for a while waiting for her to get back.
After waiting for 30 minutes she came back and we heading out for....MY FAVORITE FOOD! SUSHI! It was a 10 minute walk from my home taker's house. This little sushi bar had pretty good vibe!
First to come red tuna and squid. Japanese are CRAZY about their red tuna! And seriously, it taste nothing like the shitty tuna we get here in North America!
Personally, I was slightly underwhelmed with the sushi as they weren't as fresh as I thought I they would be, but it stilled tasted awesome!

Next up, shrimp and tai snapper!
The tai snapper was relatively fresh as I could see the rainbow shine on it. Best freaken tai snapper sushi ever. Shrimp was nothing special though.
Yes, there is more! The Eel was very well roasted, the only complain I have is that it was a little dry. The scallop sushi tasted phenomenal! Very sweet and fresh. I forgot what the red looking one was, but it was awesome as well, very chewy and has a nice texture!
Holy crap I just notice we had a really big dinner!
The highlight of this salad would be the shrimp, its just so god damn fresh!
OK ok...last one
What can I say? Best motherfucking miso soup I have never had! You can taste that they use good miso and a good amount of it as it doesn't taste like piss. The little fungi thingy you see in there is actually covered with a jello type substance, its was pretty cool eating. It felt like eating jello and mushroom at the same time
Actually, more food
I don't know what these are called, but if I had to guess, its fried stuff on a stick
Nothing much to say here but awesome!
OK! That is it for day one! Day 2 to come tomorrow :godance: UPDATED AT PAGE 4!

| Day 2:
I had a terrible night sleeping! It was hot as hell and Japanese people do not like to turn on their AC! What was worst is that I was bitten by a spider in the middle of the night on my eye lid! But it was better in the morning. Here is a picture of the bed room.
Woke up around 7ish, it was way too hot to sleep! My sister's friend treated us to some home made breakfast, I forgot what it was, but I know it tasted awesome!
The plan for the day was to shop and hang out around kyoto first.
The road we take to get to the bus station.
We bought a unlimited access pass for riding on the trains, so we can went to the train station to activate it first.
After lining up to get the card activated, me and my sister was hella hungry, so she brought me to eat the 2nd best thing I ate on this trip...OMELETTE MOTHERFUCKIN' RICE!
looks pretty good so far...
This place had a pretty long line up, so it is almost guaranteed its good shit!
This is the model of the food I ordered
And this is the real thing
And it came with a soup!
I don't even know where to start. Ok, lets start on omelette itself; it was really fluffy and had a really rich egg yolk flavor; it was also not fully cooked so it was a little running. The brown sauce on the side is actually curry and minced beef. The curry was a bit on the light side, so it didn't over power the taste of the omelette. The rice was was fried rice, I don't remember much about the it though. The white looking sauce is some kind of pasta sauce, it really spiced up the whole dish up imo; it gives the curry a bit more creaminess and richness. Individuality is not the point of this rice, when you mix it all together, its out of this world! I have never tasted anything this good in my life or ever even! I think I can use the word orgasmic to describe this...
This thing on top is something like fried potato salad, once again it was freaken awesome.
My sister had this.

After experiencing best damn omelette rice in the world, we took the bus the shopping street, I don't exactly remember the name of this place, but it will take you at least 10 minutes walk from beginning to end, so it was pretty damn long!
Got myself a pair of Edwin's 503 cutting! They were 14,000 yen, which equals to 140 cnd, but it some fineeeee jeans!
Got hungry so we went to tim horton of Japan, Mr Donut
I had a normal donut...
Nothing worth mentioning, it was rather dry =(
My sister had a red bean donut
Nothing interesting here...
There were tons of selections though and stuff were pretty cheap!
We left around 6 since we had to meet up with my sister friends for a reunion!
It was rather odd eating buffet on the roof of a mall, but apparently its quiet common, you shop until you are hungry and you go to the roof to have some all you can eat. Nothing is worth mentioning here, food was pretty bad, so I didn't even take any pictures

Japanese people
They were pretty funny, I taught them the word "sausage fest", I don't know why I did, but I hope they can make use of it in the future.
It was night time when we left, so I snapped from pictures!
And if you guys haven't notice, we took the bus home!
It was a pretty hectic day, but that is what traveling is all about!
