FS: Wheel refinishing Gift Certificate

Is a $100 gift certificate from Panther Precision Machine LTD.

The certificate has no expiry date.

$90 is the price or better offer.

Located in vancouver.

what you mean by gift certificate, is it a $100 discount for wheel refinishing or what?
please explain it to me, because I'm thinking to refinish my wheels.
thanks

PrjctDC2-R 09-24-2008 08:59 PM

so you want $100 cash.. for a gift certificate of $100 value.

*skratchin head*

Lemme call panther and see how much its gonna cost to paint a set of wheels.

Might be intrested.

proj3ktvr6 09-24-2008 09:00 PM

heyyy.. you got it!!!!

TouringTeg 09-26-2008 10:31 AM

So why would someone go to the effort of buying your $100 certificate for $100?

Also most shops/services go up in price over time so the certificate actually slowly devalues as time goes on.

BlackZRoadster 09-26-2008 11:36 AM

why would sumone make an extra trip to pick up your certificate, then spend time verifying the amount, and in the end save nothing? Most of the best buy/fs gift cards are 10-20% off

you say its better than cash b/c of inflation.. so lets say panthers jacks up their prices, you bring in $100 gift certifciate will still mean the same as $100 ? im confused bout this part lol

BNR32_Coupe 09-26-2008 01:57 PM

I assume you got the gift certificate for free, and the time it takes to meet you and buy it for full price is a waste, so I'd like to place my offer down for $50

BlackZRoadster 09-26-2008 02:11 PM

^ i think he said its a "100 dollar off" coupon, read the terms, it might require you to refinish all 4 rims and stuff before they take 100 off

maxx 09-26-2008 05:21 PM

No, its $100 off anything you do at panther.
Good as cash.

Dont like it? Don't buy. Simple as that.
And this is not fucking Future Shop or Best Buy.

BlackZRoadster 09-26-2008 06:54 PM

good luck!

Don't like buying a gc for equivalent cash value when you could just not waste time to buy the gc to begin with, then don't buy it.

To seller: Let me know the lowest you're willing to go

bobbysoor 09-26-2008 10:38 PM

Regardless of inflation $100 is $100! I really don't understand. Can someone shed some light on this concept?

Rikaro 09-26-2008 11:30 PM

no need to make numerous replies on $100 for a $100 cert.

Apparently no one's going to buy it and price will either come down or he's going to keep it.

No offence but I found this picture

i think ill just keep my $100 so i can spend it wherever i want instead of being forced to use it at panthers. Who knows...i might never need to bring wheels there, then im SOL

brine04 09-27-2008 04:04 PM

If I give you $100 can you make it a $110 GC?
