I remember those days. They had some guys that had a tendency to come under the net and maybe take out your ankles.

Nevermind, just looked at the drop fee's for the oval and it's $12.50 for adults, yikes!

I guess they want to pay off the cost of the oval in a hurry. Fee is for all day, i emailed them and told them to do a fee per sport.

You can pickup almost anywhere, I think even sportchek carries them.

Tad's on granville, racquets runners, or canuckstuff.com

Really? Hmm strange, sportchek @ richmond had it maybe a 2 weeks back. $69.99, i was going to grab it, but didn't need another ball.

I'm heading to tads today to grab some real vball shoes, i'll check out what balls they are stocking these days.

ebay is your best bet for the Mikasa ball at the moment.

i love that ball as some of my friends have it. great hitting ball and you need precise control, it's not a 'forgiving' ball compared to the Tachikara Gold or the Baiden Perfection.

Check here http://vancouvervolleyball.com/home.asp

Picked up a pair of Mizuno's, first time playing in vball shoes, wow, big difference.

Found this deal online, i'll pick up another pair and gold ball.

Pretty good prices for shoes on that link.

big difference in grip? i used vball shoes in the past and found they never had enough cushion at the balls of your feet, mainly all in the heels...i've resorted to using running shoes with active ankles now...haha, *knock on wood* never sprained in my life so far!

I've always used basketball shoes for ankle support, the weight difference is huge, grip is bit better. The asics I tried on, felt pretty thin on the forefoot.
