Good solid movie. Agreed with most of the statement mentioned previously. Clint Eastwood is still the original bad ass. Would have been funny, but cheesy, if they incorporated a magnum into the film.

The asian actors were first time actors. You people expect too much; just be glad you see asians in a western movie without martial arts.

love the plot and how everything flowed

the acting was TERRRRRIBBLE. even clint eastwood was a bit unbelievable..

but it was entertaining foshow

it was an honest movie with racial slurs and stereotypes. it was also a comedy apparently, as everyone in the theatre was laughing except for me.

to tell you the truth, i won't be surprised if there are parts of towns where people are still racist in the gangster neighbourhoods. it's sort of extreme but i wouldn't doubt it entirely.

I couldn't find any nominations but i can't see how people would see it better than Ben button, then again, Ben button wasn't as good as wrestler, and again, wrestler wasn't going to beat slumdog in best picture.

Fantastic film. One of the best I've seen in recent memory.

The actors may have seemed inexperienced but to me, it contributed to the realism of the situation.

I agree that the acting was a little sub-par but it did get better as the movie went on (maybe the young Asian actors had some lessons during the shoot? :p).

But yes, good writing, good story and some pretty funny moments. Not a huge fan of Eastwood but he was entertaining here.

want to see real bad

I just saw it, and I liked it. The worst actor was the hmong mother. Not a big deal though. Still a good movie.

good show, bad acting, but very entertaining

loved his character in the movie. Clint played an awesome role.
Give his role a good 10.

Me dad and i had a blast watching this....

Above and beyond the horrendous Asian actors, Eastwood's dialogue reminded me of a retired Batman that has a chip on his shoulder with everyone he sees....which was amusing.

Pretty entertaining movie I thought, I laughed alot at all the rasicm, the acting by toad was alrite but his sisters acting was pretty bad, both her and clints acting were cringe worthy when he picked her up in the truck and they had a dialogue, I've seen better acting in grade school plays then what happened in that truck it was just so sterile..
