I don't even see how you could handle 2+ Tanks at once

Some people were saying at the last level of the first campaign, there were 3 or 4 tanks. When I was playing the demo with 3 of my cousins it took us 4 tries to kill 1 tank. So this will be fun!

i'd say PC for better aiming, free updates and free online play. Not to mention the modding potential is greater on PC as well.
As for being able to play as the boss zombies, you can in Versus mode. It's insanely fun and introduces a whole new aspect to gameplay, really enforces zombie teamwork.

yes id go for pc version.. Valve is known to release FREE content on their games like Team Fortress 2.
look at the butchered versions of TF2 on 360.. microsoft made Valve release their DLC goodies for a cost..
and like i mention before, u dont need a powerful pc to play this game
my pc can barely handle BF2, and cant even run BF2142.. but i have no problem running CS: Source at high settings, and this game..

Do you find CS boring in single player mode?

lol its not easy on expert but I'd say its just the right amount of challenge.
You just gotta have a group of skilled friends to play alongside. Only issue is unfortunate tank ambushes lol... For the horde you always gotta hear the music cues.. and either go back to back.. or find corners or positions where you can't get flanked. Usually you'd get hit maybe once or twice every horde wave.

PC version has a good deal from Valve. Buy 4 copies for $149.99. Just gotta get 3 other people in the deal. http://store.steampowered.com/app/500/

hahahaha played the last part of the game with some friends.... multiple tanks... except they showed up after the other one dies.... but holy smokes its intense. Not sure which setting we were playing at though... maybe advance. I don't think we're skilled enough to play expert with that yet.
where'd you guys defend? the house or the farm?

it's always the same witch and same tank and same smoker...should have downloaded this POS off BT instead | If you are playing single player (hoping you were AT LEAST in expert) and using that experience to judge l4d, you might as well just stop playing and read about it on wikipedia and assumed you conquered it.
Of course it won't seem fun when you are playing it offline when the game is developed to be played with other people.
I blitzed through single player and campaign mode on non-expert setting just so i can get a feel for the maps.
And when it comes to playing it on expert with live people in campaign mode? fucking amazing.
Spent 6 hours on 1 campaign (not because my teammates sucks, but the AI director was bloody brilliant and brutal, spawning special zombies in the worst possible places and almost refusing to give us better weapons) and it was fun to play every single time.

werd. this game really isn't meant for a single person to play with stupid AI partners. This game surely was built for 4 player co op and nothing else. The AI director is truly amazing as well. Playing as the zombie is also pretty sweet.

playing as a zombie was fun, except it seemed like one shot from a survivor and I would die
our game never managed to spawn a Tank

yeah versus mode adds a whole new level to the game.. really emphasizes teamwork though. Unless you're playing against total noobs you always gotta get in that boomer first to distract/blind everyone then get the hunters to pounce on the better players with the smoker dragging one out of play.
Just finished the dead air campaign last night on expert with 3 of my friends. Shit is so epic especially the final area. I loved the 'credits' they put at the end of all the campaigns where it gives you all the vital stats of your play through the maps.

the team I played against had a really good strategy yesterday... we were in a pretty exposed area of the city, 2 hunters pounced on us at the same time, while a horde was rushing at us, and a smoker finished it up... we were totally dominated at that point
