Anyone been in the library recently? I like how you don't have to get lost in the bookshelves before you can find somewhere to study anymore. It's a lot more open...Just wish they added more study rooms, I think there's like 6 for the whole campus...stupid.

When you registered, did you notice any increases around the cost per semester? Just wondering if this Multipass is in effect for next semester.

Have you heard of LAL?, visit http://www.likealittle.com/sfu

Im trying to get one going for KPU (www.likealittle.com/kwantlen). I have one class at SFU Surrey, the rest at KPU. It's like night and day. KPU is almost like a gas station, get in, and get the f' out. No one really kicks around to chill.

+1 nobody hangs around or anything, there's some clubs and stuff but other than that if your not at the library studying, your going home right after class

I think the multipass passed but i see no fee for it...BUT at the top it says "Anticipated third party contract payments are NOT included in this summary." ....those sneaky bastards

Meh, I don't mind the Multi-pass to be honest. I could use the gold's gym membership which isn't too bad. Also there are a few days I'd rather take the train downtown than to drive and fight with traffic. $42 / month is a bit steep though.

You're right though, theres a few clubs, I haven't joined any, or seen them actively on campus either. Are you a part of any?

Multi-pass probably won't be out til Fall 2011. My friend is a volunteer for the KUSA and he says they are finalizing contracts. Seeing that the next semester starts in a little over a month, I doubt they would roll out the new program. More info is on ksamultipass.ca

I went to that LAL site seems like a craigslist missed connections thing. Thats not gonna work when students don't kick around campus. HA, GOOD LUCK

I thought that they wanted to "test it out" for the summer semester and see how everything goes, like the intercampus shuttle and stuff???
