3seriesBeeM 12-15-2008 12:39 PM

thats messed up is halo really that addicting i mean that other kid that ran away form his house and now there willing to kill for the game i remember playing the original halo but it was only fun on multiplayer. sad to see murder is nothing to these kids these days RIP to the mother

JHuJHu 12-15-2008 12:49 PM

RIP

Now that is a addiction problem!

EDIT: WTF did the dad forgive his son?!

"Dad, I'm so sorry for what I did to Mom, to you and to the family," Daniel Petric said, according to his father. "I'm so glad you are alive."

"You're my son," Mark Petric responded. "You're my boy."

Peturbo 12-15-2008 12:52 PM

Sounds like those 2 other old stories combined.
The xbox 360 kid + the kid with the rifle.

underscore 12-15-2008 01:07 PM

that kid is pathetic. He deserves to be jailed for life. Halo 3 isn't even that great of a game.

CKLCKL 12-15-2008 01:21 PM

its getting old. hes a fucker.

hotjoint 12-15-2008 01:25 PM

wow all over video games, sad

jc8181086 12-15-2008 01:43 PM

what the fuck...this kid should be hung.

Presto 12-15-2008 01:45 PM

Technology has rained down a lot of new, cool stuff. Various tech addictions, like online games, Facebook, etc... is happening a lot more, but a lot of parents don't acknowledge it. Although not injected, snorted, or smoked, it can still be addictive. There'll be those on the extreme side of things, and they'll be the ones to completely flip out when their game gets taken away because their world falls apart without it.

hal0g0dv2 12-15-2008 01:51 PM

wasn't me thank god

TOPEC 12-15-2008 02:07 PM

sooner or later they're gonna ban halo. or MS is gonna stop making halo 4. i played halo 1, 2, and 3, and i never touched it after i finish the single player.

BabyblooLexus 12-15-2008 02:44 PM

WOW WTF
my initial response was ofcourse it was the sons fault
but then again the dynamics of familys full situation was
not reveald (the snowboarding accident and how he was
homebound etc) who knows, maybe he had gone temporarily
insane. who knows.

to the mother, RIP

and you have missed so much

That's what happens with the new-age parenting ideology. Kids of today aren't afraid of their parents or authority anymore.

Kid should go to jail for a while. Teach him that in the "real" world, there is such a thing as authoritarial heirarchy.

fullyentranced 12-15-2008 03:12 PM

w t f

"Would you guys close your eyes," Daniel Petric asked. "I have a surprise for you."

something has got to be seriously wrong with him for him to say that and pull that shit off.

bbbj 12-15-2008 03:31 PM

If hes able to do something like this it can only get worse in the future..

tonyvu 12-15-2008 03:32 PM

It's not surprising, considering the father is minister at the church. The bible says to forgive.

Culture_Vulture 12-15-2008 05:07 PM

mark my words, over the next 2 years,
a whole lotta fucking people will die like this.

if somebody quotes this and it doesn't come true, I'll shave off my left ball with a razor and serve it deep fried.

In the states, plenty of people own handguns for various reasons. He's not breaking any law by owning one. He's got a right to bear arms. It looks like he had it locked up, but the article doesn't mention whether it was stored properly.
