I just picked up a bottle of this stuff from ICANPOLISH. Washed 2 cars in the garage. It works amazingly well and I will be definetly using this from now on to wash in the colder weather. I used 2 buckets with grit guard in each and many microfiber towels for wash and a waffle weave microfiber to dry.

Definetely pick some up from our sponsor.

Did you pick it up through their shop? Do you know if they had any other MFs other than the ones on their website?

I wasn't aware that they had a shop.

I met up in Burnaby to pickup the goods.

I don't know if they have any other MF's... If they had some like the cookie monsters from eshine I would totally buy more.

i think Draft (a rs mod) also uses this car wash thing for his car..

hmm.. i still don't believe in it until i see it for myself..

how much does it cost for the smallest possible amount?

You know carcaresmart has the 3.7L ONR for $33 compared to the $44 and $53 that the other sites currently have their for.

I've never had luck buying anything from carcaresmart, everything is always out of stock, and they haven't ever responded to my emails.

ok i just wash my car today with this. I was skeptical at first, after of the new paint getting swirls. And I have to say this stuff works!!!!!

I'm loving this so much I may use it full time. Is there any benefits that a regular wash soap offers that this doesn't? Anybody use it as a quick detailer to keep the car clean in between washes?

I use it as a quick detailer...I've washed my car with ONR about 3 times now in the last 6weeks. Works well and I'm happy that I'm able to wash my car in the winter without pulling out the hose.

i guess if your car is really really dirty your head will tell you not to use onr.

my car was quite dirty when I washed it especially the trunk, so i added more ONR to the mix. Didn't know if that helped but no scruff marks or major swirls.

I just took a LED flashlight to examine the paint and appear there are very very minor swirl marks in some places, but its not visible once you take a step back.

adding more onr doesn't really do anything i think. For those really dirty parts i used a spray bottle to pre spray it first before wiping. Marring/swirls could be from the mitt/wash media/drying towels itself so its hard to say.

its very micro scruffing that doesn't really bother me at this point. However I just had a look and there is area by the backdoor that has visible scruffs and now that i found it, its bothering me. It seems like the work of dirty mittens, time for another gritguard for the soap bucket. Can it be easilly buff out? Maybe u guys can help me better with a picture. I will start a new thread

If the scuff marks are hardly visible with the naked eye it will most likely buff out

You could try the finger nail trick, run the tip of your nail over the scuffs, if your nail doesnt catch on any of the scratches, you're ok

I'm still a bit skeptical.

I find a lot dirt/gravel will accumulate in the areas where the side moldings are, is it still safe to use in those areas?

There's 2 things you can do:

1) Prespray with a mix of water/ONR from a small spray bottle
2) Go through a quick car wash

I personally go with option #2 since the car washes dont completely get all the dirt off
Plus I'm not too fond of scrubbing my MF cloths later to get them clean again

I just did that and yes the nail is not catchin. I have no experience with polishing though. Seeing how impress i was with the ONR, I might try out the optimum poli seal as it say it can be use by hand without a polisher.

Anybody have tried it out before?

Any other recommendation for a good hand polisher that a noob can't fuck up with?

Without a machine polisher you cant really do much polishing. but like if you only want to get a scratch out of one specific area get Meguiar Scratch-X from Cantire.

i would only apply sealant or wax with bare hand that's it.

My car's black and I've used it numerous times, however I dont use it when my car is filthy.
Everytime I wash I always go through a quick car wash first to get most of the crap off, then go home and wash with ONR

What you could do is just buy numerous MF mitts and just keep switching when one gets dirty.
That's probably what will cause swirls in your paint, the dirty mitts
