350z tires are already a bitch to mount.. anything with a lower and stiff sidewall i hate to mount at work.

mas604 12-27-2008 04:44 PM

why do they make it in 22"? thats kinda stupid.

!SG 12-27-2008 04:57 PM

same, i thought the 25 series was a rubber band, this just takes it to a whole different level.

Try mounting a 245/35/18 V710 in the winter onto a stock RX8 rim. You got nothing on that. ;)

That's nothing. You got more side wall on that tire.

Did you do it old school or with the fully mechanical tire changer?

So I assume your dealer has the fully mechanical tire changers.

Cumhoe has been doing this for years.

it's more visible than those letters on low profile side wall . It looks cool in person, but only if it comes with a better name

SupraMan604 12-27-2008 07:01 PM

i guess its a pain for the tire installer to install mine 295/30/18 =)

shenmecar 12-27-2008 07:05 PM

you should ask him!

385 width.... wow.

!SG 12-28-2008 07:45 PM

385 is pretty freaken wide. but u think of it, the stock lambo merc runs on 355 wide 18s. so for all those ballers out there that want bling 20s or 22s, they need to go a bit wider.

also, these numbers are in mm's too. my little lexus went from 225 to 275, so going from 355 to 385 doesnt sound that drastic.
