Out the door pricing for Acura RDX 2009? Looking to buy an RDX Tech model fairly soon. MSRP is $45,100. Just wondering how much other folks have managed to negotiate off the MSRP price. I know that dealerships are hurting to sell anything right now and that there is a $5,000 incentive for cash buy out. Can msg me or reply to thread. Thanks for the help!  |
Dunno about pricing on RDX. But may I recommend the Mazda cx7 it is much more powerful!!!with a 2.3L turbo charged engine pushin 244 hp!! and there going for around 35K "out the door" |

My I know which kind of CX7 is $35000 out of the door? I'm looking to buy an AWD Vehicle but on a tight budget >_<" I check the Mazda website. A CX7 GT AWD goes for $42 000 out of the door! MSRP itself is $36000 + $1600 (Freight and PDI) + $4600 (Taxes):rolleyes: |
k. back to topic not sure if this would help.. but with cash purchase, I alone got 6.5k off with free acessories for a 08 TSX during 2007.. so i'm pretty sure you can get more than 5k off a RDX. If you can't, then it just means you're not trying hard enough.. |
Went with my parents to Burrard Acura today. Got offered ~6k off a 09 CSX, plus other stuff thrown in, but we ultimately negotiated nearly 9k off a 08 demo CSX with stuff thrown in. You can work 'em pretty hard... they're willing to play ball. Cash purchase, though. |
The motor is very under rated for the RDX |
That sounds like a really good deal. Quote:
Any feedback on the BMW X3 (MSRP $45,300) and final purchase price from those that have recently bought? |
RDX is a stellar car, but is not REALLY AWD, power is split 90% front -10% , and power only shift in SLIPPAGE, have you considered waiting till Jan 5th, when the Mercedes-Benz GLK350 4MATIC officially gets on the market as a 2010 model year?? google GLK and see it, nice specs, 0-100km/h in 6.7secs. looks like the old G500 had a little bro that went to PRIVATE SCHOOL $41,800 base price |

I will definitely second the GLK, though I'd wait a year or so for the Bluetec diesel. If you're looking at the X3 why not pay considerably less for the newer (and better IMO) GLK. You can get one VERY nicely equipped for the cost of a base X3. |

My coworker got a RDX with tech package for $38,000 brand new MSRP |
Thank You!! When did they buy? Quote:
If he financed, what was the finance interest rate? I visited a dealer today and their key sales pitch is basically that the interest rate is so low 0.9% that they don't want to budge on the MSRP price because the "monthly rates are affordable enough for this type of car". The MSRP for the RDX Tech is $45,100 after 2 hours the sales guy finally offered to drop $2,800 =$42,300. He wanted us to stay and negotiate more but I didn't feel like it today. |

lolll much more powerful??? :haha::haha::rolleyes: i think not |
got $5.5K off a CRV with cash purchase a couple months ago - no reason why the RDX would be at LEAST in that range with a cash purchase |
Cash buyers also get $5000 off RDX... Quote:
The general feedback I am getting is that sales are slow and down at almost all dealerships and the economy isn't picking up anytime soon so I'll just take a bit more time looking for a real deal. |
consumer reports almost failed the cx7. i think it was a 60? i like the rdx too and was looking at that after the mdx thinking the rdx would have a 4cylinder one...i was mistaken. i'm def. worried about what would happen if after i bought one, the gas jumps back to the nightmare-ish 1.27 |
