Cheapest place may not be the best I once went to a place cause it was cheap and it turns out the fuckers made my perscriptions wrong like almost 2x the amount I'm sappose to get |
i get all of my glasses & sunglasses at Eyedol in City Square (cambie & 12th, vancouver). good prices and great service, very nice people and very accommodating. |

Try Smart Eyewear in Parker! They're super nice (and busy) there. |
last year I research about this in revescene and I got a general consensus that Eyemate on granville and 70 is good. been there twice now and I am a satisfied customer |

costco. you can never go wrong with costco. ...with anything actually. |
eyestar metrotown is home to my lens needs. |
Just a heads up: anyone who goes to Lenscrafters is getting ripped off so hard. Stick with Chinese-run places! :D |
|
yeah dont ever go to lenscrafters, they are a total rip off |
It costs 310 at lenscrafters. You could probably get it for 130 or so at many other optical place in metrotown |

zenni optical, online |
there was a place right beside an optometrist along broadway that made lenses for around 40$ it didn't come with any extra coatings though |
eyemate ftw granville and 70 |
Smart Eyewear at Parker in Richmond. been going there since I was a kid. |
Remember to get Anti-Reflective coating. Also, consider getting scotchguard protector (that's nikon ice or essilor's crizal alize) it's around $30 more but it repels dust, dirt, water.. etc so you barely have to clean it. |
sunglass hut |
If you wear glasses on a daily basis, I suggest getting better lenses rather than no-name stuff. Try Nikon (here in NA they work together with Essilor AFAIK, so they are the same thing) Hoya, or Zeiss. Once you have tried premium lens. All cheap lens are just crap that isn't even worth paying a cent for. Essilor can be purchased at Wal-Mart and many asian places can get you Nikon. Zeiss is THE shiet but very few places have it. |
