mechanical engineering? I'm currently 2nd year Computing Science Honors student studying at SFU. It's really bothering me that computing isn't my type of thing. I want to pursue my career in mechanical engineering because CS isn't as challenging as that. I have always had a thing for automotive engineering especially when it comes down to engines. What's the fastest route to change path to mechanical engineering? SFU doesn't offer it. |
try bcit they got whole shit load of course for your interest |
Try emailing the CS advisers to see what they know about transferring to UBC Mech. You're probably not the first. I guess your math and phys should transfer fine. |
My friend did this transfer, some of your credits will transfer, but you will likely still have to take a significant number of first year courses before you can apply to enter in Mech program. |
Meanwhile, you could take some of the ENSC courses offered at SFU (check which are transferrable, first). |
