mechanical engineering?

I'm currently 2nd year Computing Science Honors student studying at SFU. It's really bothering me that computing isn't my type of thing. I want to pursue my career in mechanical engineering because CS isn't as challenging as that. I have always had a thing for automotive engineering especially when it comes down to engines. What's the fastest route to change path to mechanical engineering? SFU doesn't offer it.

Try emailing the CS advisers to see what they know about transferring to UBC Mech. You're probably not the first. I guess your math and phys should transfer fine.

My friend did this transfer, some of your credits will transfer, but you will likely still have to take a significant number of first year courses before you can apply to enter in Mech program.

Meanwhile, you could take some of the ENSC courses offered at SFU (check which are transferrable, first).
