looking for a B18c/c1 vtec

i have a 93 integra with a B16 im pretty sure
i jus bought it so im not positive
no vtec jus plain old stock engine and i want to upgrade to a newer B18c/c1 engine with vtec
any ideas on where to look for one and a shop that could swap it?

Your integra does not have a B16 unless someone put it in there. You likely have a B18A. Pop your hood and look down on the front of the motor there will be a stamp there that tells you what the motor is.

Might be better for you to just to an LS/Vtec by sticking a Vtec head on your block. Its a pretty basic swap.

i really dont know whats in there
someone jus looked at it n said maybe its a b16
but yea its prob a b18a
my mileage is getting up there too at 223xxx
i just know the previous owner did nothing to it

If the owner did nothing to it and it doesn't have vtec then it's a b18a.
a b16 has Vtec and is an unlikely swap lol.

The stamp is beside your headers and it actually on the transmission. with 223000km you probably wouldn't see it without cleaning it first.

Berzerker has a good suggestion, going ls vtech. or you can just swap in a c1.
as for shops, try the sponsors. Garage Five, Evolution, Advance, etc

yea haha thats true thatd be a stupid swap
i think im gonna swap a c1 in cuz i dont wanna have troubles wen it gets up to 300xxx

a newer lower km engine would be a better idea.
