When I was looking at buying a TV a couple years ago, I came across Olevia. They had good prices - you could get a 42" for the same price as a 32" for the Japanese brands.

But the quality was noticeably poorer. Quite bad in fact. I went with a Hitachi 32" (Sharp screen). The price I paid was around $14,000 HKD, they are about half that now. Prices are ridiculous now, but I still wouldn't buy an Olevia.
