i only run 92 in my civic si, with a compression of 11.0:1, which is higher up. a co-worker at honda(certified tech) also drives a civic si, he has tried putting regular in and it runs like shit, but he says 89 will do ok for our k20's. i forgot if my gas lid says 91+ recommended or required..
