yeah i have no problem with heat...and ill keep running it like that until i get a ticket...i figure as long as the cops can see somethin its better then nothing...since some cops dont know jack about cars....and if i run into problems ill just bend the plate out and have it hang on a 45 degrees and tell the cops its using stock mountin location which it is

I used the relocation kit on my car, and I have to say the results are identical to doing what the above have said, and buying an L shaped bracket from a place like home depot. Ask around, i'm sure of your buddies or your friends dad has a drill you could use.
