license plate relocation, rsx

i dunno if this is the right place to post this, but on my rsx-s the license plate holder rubs against my bumper and majorly messes up the paint and stuff so i was wondering what to do to relocate the license plate? what has anyone else done and which causes the least damage, any stores that have them around vancouver so i don't need to order like a 10-30$ item... thanks

I've seen someone with the plate in the gap and they removed the plate holder. Looked good

buy one of these

you have to drill holes in your bumper though

this gets you a bigger ticket than no plate since you're " damaging" government property.

if i remember right, the fine for " obstructing the view of your plate " (or something along those lines) is $189.

whereas no front plate is only $109 lol.

Raid3n 01-13-2009 06:06 PM

obstructed plate is 138

would that sufficiently block enough air flow to cause damaging results, or even notice a difference?

alex.w *// 01-13-2009 09:05 PM

^ nope, im doing the exact same thing in my EL and it did not change a thing. Was driving in the summer a/c on, temperature reading were the same
