i think there is one in oakridge safeway |
oakridge safeway, but they take a part of your money tho =( |
^ do you have any idea how much? I got a bunch of coins that i would like to convert to bills |
u can get a coin counting machine from costco that helps u put it in those wrapper things. banks will take THOSE the machine costs 150 |
^ $150.. I'm pretty sure my piggy bank has less than that :lol I guess I'll stop being a lazy ass and go to a bank to get those free coin wrappers and count the change myself :( |
fawking td bank started a pilot project in TO, they have those machines for free use, we need some in van. |
dont get why its called the pilot project. Think i'll go by TD bank on tuesday or when its not packed and ask for the coin wrapper |

go to zellers. in one of the center aisles, they sell these "nifty gift ideas". there's a coin-counting jar for $20. |
i think they have it in the safeway on kingsway and tyne also |
safeway's have them but they take like 10% of the amount you have i think... if you go to a bank, i believe they give you those rolls to put your change in. .. |
Safeway will take 10% of what you put in. Just go River Rock, exchange for free. But don't be an ass by just going in and out just for that. |
just go get some coin rolls from the bank..no charge! |
some stupid girl came into the bank today at 355pm (4pm closing time) and wanted us to count her bag full of mixed coins......... the teller next to me started doing it for her and i was like.. WTF? then, i told her go wrap the coins first, then we will take it. or else we will never balance and go home! she was like.. awww, really? do i have toooo? that's such a waste my time. (you stupid bitch, it's your own money!) she was whining, so i basically told her to fuck off. (in a polite way of course) anyways, i see many many people coming in to change coins (half bags, full bags, boxes, you name it) i guess the reccession is killing everyone and they will go under their bed and find all the money they could! lol.. |
How is it working at the bank? I've always sort of wanted to work there. |
At riverrock do they put it thru a machine? I'd got like thousands of coins that I'd like to exchange for bills, i'd hate to waste the money man's time. |
i had a shit load of coins rolled up to exchange, i was low on gas and jsut wanted to put $5 in... this stupid lady on the counter opened up the rolls and started counting these were $1 dollar rolls of PENNIES she counted one stack and im like just match the height with the rest and she refused she was like "its store policy" yada yada yada, i wanted to falcon punch her in the ovaries |
Fallllcoooo Punch!!!! |

Casinos have self coin counting machines. place coins in and it will sort it and give you the cash. Some casinos will not let you do this if you do not plan to play at the casino. |

but unfortunately, she was a rude 20 yr old mainlander girl who speaks english with a medicore accent. so i had to direct her to the door. |
so i suggested her to the casino instead, but pretend that you were going to play. she said "but i have work though" i said, "casino opens 24/7/365. just drop by anytime!" hahaha |
