In terms of women, this only matters to women who's main criteria for an ideal mate is one's social status, which has correlation to ones financial status.

DING DING DING** GOOD JOB ALPHAMALE, you meet all the criterias!

I'm happy with my 2000 impreza. It's not flashy dashy or anything, but for what I need transportation for (road trips, snowboarding, camping, canoeing) it suits those needs perfectly while still delivering decent/good fuel economy.

My last car, an 88 mx6 GT, was a fun car with lots of power, but in terms of fuel economy and reliability it was seriously lacking.

depends on the age, mentality, type of the women u go after or ur attracted to.

haha, sigh, gotta stop going after the gold diggers =/

AHhaha. You should remove your passenger seat and save some weight. hahah Take the bus on dates. :D JK

If it bother's her, take her car. If she doesn't have a car, too bad. It's not like the dinner is in Seattle.

closest ive been to your situation was my first s2k. stiff, loud, and a little body work - didnt look TOO wild though.
girls loved it for the most part. wind in their hair sometimes sucked.
then they loved my FX35, too... but pure luxury SUV...
got a second s2000 and girls love it more than the FX in general. its "unique" and they love top down feeling... luxury car is nothing special, i guess...
if the girl is a digger, theyd dig the FX. if they are legit, theyd dig the S2.

she got coffee one time and tried to take a sip right when i shifted and it spilt all over her white jacket... and then just went ape shit on me

Dude... the G37 is still considered a luxury car unless of course it is modded. *MOST* stock cars are are relatively comfortable unless you are speaking of cars like Elise, GT3RS, Ferrari's, Lambos etc. Most cars in the 50k range can be used as a daily driver.

I think the problem is your ability to shift smoothly and not the car itself. :haha:

IMO, your ride reflects on your maturity level and your taste obviously.

With that said, if you are already in your mid-late 20's, and your car screams flashy (aka neon green underglow) and loud, then I wouldn't even bother taking a 2nd look. To me, flashy is screaming for attention, hence maturity level is a little too low for me. If you're blowing all your money on a ride by that age, then you have some serious growing up to do.

Since you also cant judge taste, if your flashy car suits your taste, then it's already a no-go since our taste clearly clash, wouldn't bother wasting my time.

No one is saying you need to be driving a BMW or a Benz. If you drove a Honda/Toyota/Mazda, with at most tasteful low-key mods, that's enough.

not to disagree with you but as I've always told people maturity is a relative term since everybody has their own judgement as to what qualities one should have inorder to be deemed mature...

As long as your car is clean and in good order, most women should be happy.

I find that investing in yourself - a good combination of health, fitness, attitude, and appearance - pays off way more in the long run. In my limited experience, women have been far more impressed with my ability to take care of myself, my mediocre culinary skills, and my ability to keep a clean household.

I agree with that, that's why I wrote at the very beginning "IMO"
