TV table/stand

Looking for a tv table/stand

I have 46" lcd but saw a table that I like but it says it'll only support up to 42" tv and 70kg

I know the base of my tv will fit on the table and is definitely lighter than 70kg
so it'll be fine right?

Other than the fact the table is probably shorter than the TV itself, it will be fine. 70 kg = approx 154 lbs. Most 46" LCD's weigh half that.

WEIGHT is the main issue. Just make sure the BASE of the TV fits on the table properly.

IF it is one of those BACK MOUNTED LCD TV stands then you would probably need a heavier duty stand/mount.

If it's made from glass i would not do it. I have seen some picks of glass stands failing.

ya don't think ill be going with a glass stand

reason for going smaller is cause of the tight corner area

any places you recommend for stands asides from major chain stores
