Theres nothing for a second Dark Knight. Its just a whole bunch of rumours and posters made by comic book nerds. |
they already set up Two Face and Comissioner Gordon in the last one...why wouldn't they make another one? |

But as of right now...there is NOTHING set up for the third movie....just rumours started by the comic book nerds just to get the first word. |
Two Face is dead so he cant be in the next one. johnny depp as riddler would be good though |
yea I thought two face was dead... |
I wonder what they are going to do about the joker now regarding the storyline, seeing as things were left pretty open with the character...Will they address it or just move on to other villains and let it be? |
You guys didn't watch the end of the movie very closely did you. |
pretty sure 2face isnt dead |
first thing the riddler is the main character in the next movie |

I dunno how they will incorporate that into the 3rd movie as it doesn't look they will be following that story. |

I was reading an article that was an interview with Goyer (1 of the producers) from a more reliable source than BLOGSPOT that they already have the theme for the next Batman movie, and he will not reveal the theme nor the name of the third one. Yet, he says that the theme will be within the hints of the titles of the first and second batman movie.... |

The Joker's Return? Rumors suggest the Clown Prince may be back for Batman 3. by Jim Vejvoda January 13, 2009 - Yes, we know that the rumor mill is churning out of control on all things related to Batman 3, but this report was just too juicy not to tell you about. Although it appeared unlikely that we'd ever see the Joker in another Christopher Nolan-directed Batman film after Heath Ledger died, a Warner Bros. source for Moviehole suggests that the Clown Prince of Crime just might end up being part of a third Bat-film after all. Moviehole's Clint Morris claims to have "heard from someone at the WB that The Joker may be a part of the next Batman film -- if even in a minor capacity. I believe 'It's definitely possible; ya never know. Heard some things' were his exact words." The Joker, you may recall, was literally left hanging at the end of The Dark Knight. According to Moviehole, the Joker's inclusion in Batman 3 would be "merely for storytelling reasons -- they want to tie-up the character's storyline -- not because they wanna keep selling the Joker T-Shirt (which, of course, they do)." While for many it's unthinkable to even ponder anyone else but Ledger as The Joker (especially given all the awards the actor has posthumously received), the site points out that producer Charles Roven recently suggested to MTV that the role is more important than the actor playing it. So might the Joker be recast? Or, if it's just a small role, could Ledger's Clown Prince be digitally recreated a la Oliver Reed in Gladiator or Brandon Lee in The Crow in order to have the character make an appearance? Given today's special effects, that's certainly possible. But, as Moviehole stresses, right now the studio and filmmakers are simply tossing around ideas for a third Bat-film so this is all just RUMOR. http://movies.ign.com/articles/944/944617p1.html |
Harvey Dent in a Coma? Eckhart Two-Faced about future of character. by Orlando Parfitt, IGN UK UK, January 12, 2009 - Remember a few months ago, when Aaron Eckhart was telling all and sundry that Harvey Dent/Two-Face, the villain he so memorably played in The Dark Knight, was definitely dead? Well, he seems to have maybe changed his mind, having said the following to MTV News at the Golden Globes on Sunday: "I think Harvey -- if he's not dead -- is in a serious coma and I'm not sure he's coming out. They might pull the plug on him." Whilst he still doesn't sound too optimistic about reprising his role as the villain in Nolan's second Batman sequel, the fact that Eckhart is now saying his character is alive is certainly more ambiguous than what he was saying back in September, when he told Coming Soon: "He is dead as a door nail. ... He ain't coming back baby." The fact that he reckons his character may well be alive will give hope to Bat-fans eager to see Two-Face in Batman 3. http://movies.ign.com/articles/943/943928p1.html |

At the end of the movie, they say that no one can find out what Harvey did, but they never say that he's dead. He's unconscious from the fall (batman got up from it perfectly fine). He (batman) takes responsibility for the people Harvey killed and "killing Harvey". People assume he died because there's a funeral and the actor that played him said he died (which he's now retracted somewhat iirc). But you never heard Gordon announce he's dead =] And I didn't see replies to this =p sorry. |
