Karate Kid remake. Jackie Chan = Mr. Miyagi, Jaden Smith = Daniel-san Quote:
In my opinion, it's destined for failure. You just shouldn't mess with a classic. |

fail i was telling my cousin several weeks ago, that he should make a new karate kid and cast Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) and make him the new Mr. Miyagi that would be so much cooler and make more sense |
Good god.. this isn't going to be good... |
lol gonna be funny to watch |
Interesting |
:bowrofl: going to be epic-fail |
oh fuck me... somebody shoot me. |
The Karate Kid isn't the Karate Kid without the "You're the Best" tournie song and other 80's music. |
oh boy, another flop... |
Sweep the leg. |
Didnt Jackie Chan already make one, THE FORBIDDEN KINGDOM? |

/wrists... why do they keep destroying movies by remaking them?? Seriously... just leave well enough alone! |
What really ticks me off if that asian people are stereotyped as martial artist in hollywood. Well, looks like even a black kid took that spot now. |
here's the trailer Jackie Chan beats up some 10year olds, at least Miaygi beating up teenagers wasn't a big deal... gotta say i'll watch this lol |
OK this looks pretty awesome, or at least not a complete utter failure that I thought it would be. It looks like they really stuck to the original story, which is good. Shouldn't it be called Kung-Fu Kid though? My main hope is that this encourages them to release a really good version of the original on Blu-Ray. |
I'd watch it ahhaah |
