u know how many people GCC has been cut? It's said that almost everyone who got hired in 2008 would eventually go and it's happening very soon,like in 2 weeks.They already cut over 50 table game dealers in any of the GCC locations,like RiverRock and Boulevard.And they gonna start the second cut in like a week.No hiring will happen till this summer either.As for Gateway,I have been talking to a few of my friends in starlight and they are starting the cut soon.
So it's expected that your gf got the contract reversed. Thinking about how many dealers right now got called into the office and being told by the shift manager:"We are sorry,but.......":( Just take it easy and move on.

This isn't just any certain casino, recession is hitting all casinos and people are getting laid off left right and centre. This is how you know when it gets back, when even the casino industry is laying people off.

It's true, my mom got laid off at River Rock and she's saying that they are firing people and is worried that she'll get fired too.
