A Parade of Cops - Prior & Clark
 

A huge parade of police on motorcycles escorted 4 undercover cop cars Eastbound on Prior before making a left and going Northbound on Clark around 10:15am.

I thought it was Obama for a sec :haha: with how one of the guys in the car threw themselves, shielding whoever was in the car from the public eye. All the men inside the car were in suits, driving slowly, had on ear pieces.

Maybe the cops all got together to protest the price increases at Tim Hortons

they stopped in front of the library square on robson st. then i saw this couple surrounded by bodyguards walking around, they went into the starbucks and the some of the bodyguards were surrounding that starbucks. after that they walked up robson and don't know where they went. thought they might be some celebrity. couldn't get a close look at their faces.

^police dont generally protect celebrity.... i might be wrong though

and it should not be Obama, his trip is slated to for after he becomes the president

I don't know if there's any connection, but yesterday Lexi and I saw 2 fighter jets flying low towards YVR around 3-4pm

if it was obama security would be way fucking tighter.

all routes would be preplanned and they'd have alternate routes.

most if not all garbage cans, mail boxes would be moved away from main routes. etc.

they'd have a mine detector car first in line, and they'd also have air support usually in the form of helicopters.

it's very obvious when the president comes visit.

If it was a potus motorcade, every single side street would be blocked off with uniformed police for the entire route. Last time we had a President in town (I think it was Clinton) I got stuck on 49th ave (at Granville) because they shut down the entire route to let the motorcade drive by.

what you saw probably a second tier politician...or maybe that police agent testifying at the ongoing HA trial? Maybe he really needed some java before going to court.

There were at least 10-15 motorcycles infront and behind.

i remember them blocking of granville street at around 9 pm when the mexican president came, all the intersections were closed then the president rolled on through at 80-90 km/h to downtown i suppose.

i saw a motorcade as i was stopped at burrard and the street before davie... same thing happened, the police bikes came through first, told everyone to get the hell outta the way, motorcade came flying through.....
