Although highbeams don't reflect light back to me as what everyone's been telling me.
I had fogs on my old car, and they were purely for show. My dad's safari van back in the day had yellow fogs and they seemed more effective. There is some reason behind it, but i can't recall.

Having high beams in fog is worse, everything reflects back from my experience.

I guess the key to driving safely in the fog is to make sure you have your taillights on, so other people can see you from behind.

Fog lights *should* help a bit, and the reason is because they're so low, they can generally shine under the fog (fog is usually ~2-3' off the ground or so due to temperatures).

i think the angle and colour of your fogs effect have well they work. the light beams mounted low and on an angle to limit reflection off water particulars and the wave-lenght of the light

I just landed in YVR, and above all this fog was a beautiful sunset over the Rockies!! The landscapes were gorgeous, I didn't really want to land!

It's funny because the fog is sitting super low too! We dipped the plan into the clouds and within 10 seconds we were landing! If the fog was to clear Vancouver would actually enjoy the a beautiful sunny day!

That's exactly how it was. I saw a couple cities peaking out of the fog. If your high enough, you can see the fog engulfing all of the lower mainland!

I notice a lot of stupid people speeding excessively because of the fog; I assume it's because they think they won't get seen by cops?

I wonder if the red light cameras can get a pic of someone running a red?

I actually think what's more scary is driving through fraser - main on 33rd, where the cemetary is on both sides. The you got that whole fog thing happening, it's eerieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

A lot of drivers have burnt out brake lights and city lights. It irritates me a lot, especially with the recent foggy weather. I can't really blame them cause they don't know that they're burnt out and it's hard to tell them that they have a burnt out bulb while driving. :/ Oh well... :/
