no need to use akuma to unlock gouken. i used ryu, got 2 perfects, 3 ultra finish, no continues, beat seth and you'll fight gouken. he's only unlockable after unlocking everyone first (cammy, feilong, dan, rose, sakura, akuma) otherwise you'll just fight him but not unlockable

do you have to do it in one round instead of best out of 3?
i unlocked everyone except seth and gouken
i unlocked akuma already and i went thru arcade mode with him
then i went with ryu and did 2 perfects and 4 ultras with no continues
or do you have to perform the ultra to finish the guy? because i performed 2 ultras without killing the opponent...and i also went thru the arcade mode thru best out of 3

wtf.. im having trouble with some of the basic moves..
ie, Bisons Specials, when it says "<- charge ->"
how do u do that? i tried it for so long, do u just hold back then forward for a second? i cant seem to do it??
also when the directional instructions have a "Z" type direction on it, how do u do that "Z" ?

The "Z" motion is ken, ryu, akuma's dragon punch motion.

So when u say charge back you are physically moving backwards then press forward along with punch or kick?
Also how do u do the "z" motion on the dpad

Z motion = front, down, front
I unlocked Akuma about an hour ago, he's so epic. Shun Goku Satsu is just instant rape if it goes unblocked. I've won 90% of my games since using him online. But damn, I was playing someone who really knew how to use M.Bison, he just raped me with that move where he stomps on your head  | |

fuk i love zangief my fac atm. then able, then rufus...
how do u do c.vipers seismic hammer into the flame kick?>??? i cant pull it off. she deosnt do it fast enough..
how do u select ur oponent in network? i hate how u play someone then it resets, then u have to search forever for someone with a good signal...

they teach u that in one of the trials, basically seismic hammer -> super jump cancel -> flame kick
