| When to wax car?
When should I give my car a good cleansing and wax?
I really want to do it now, but another part of me tells me to wait until march/april when the summer comes around.

It would be great if you can do it now, since the new wax will protect the paint for the remainder of the winter season. But if you are doing this out in the cold then maybe just wait until it gets warmer. But, if you can do it in a warm garage I would suggest you do it! As for cleaning though, you should clean the dirt and road grime off after every other week at least. This will not allow the stuff to get build up, and making it tougher to wash off.

^ yep... twice a year, once before the summer and again before the winter.
if you are a big baller or just have a lot of free time then do it 4 times a year, once every season.

Wait until spring to give it a really good wax, but until then I'll just suggest what I've been suggesting to everyone.
Pick up some optimum no rinse + optimum wax spray and go crazy

oh yeah, in the spring be sure to clean, correct and protect your paint. that means clay bar, polish, and wax/sealant.

Unless you have a huge indoor work space where the ambient temperature is >15C I won't bother.. as wax etc.. needs a certain temperature to be effective.
I hate to say it but it is probably out of reach for most people who uses this forum.

Throw on a good sealant before winter; should last you most of the season.
