Class 5 Road test

Hello guys!

Anyways, I have booked my class 5 road test, i have had my N for 3 years now. Anyways, after i booked it, i was reading there little thing about what i need to bring and it got me thinking.

About 3 months ago i received 2 tickets, one for improper displayed N (30.13), and improperly displayed plate (3.02). They were both my fault, my N i cut off a strip off the bottom about 1", and i had these lightly smoked license plate covers on the front/rear. A warning would have been nice, but they were both paid off within 30 days of getting them. I dont believe i received points, for eitehr of those offenses, if the first one was listed in section 25, i think it carries 2/3 points, i dont know about the license plate one, i coudlnt find anything on that.

Anyways what im curious is, do i have to wait 24 months again to do my class 5? Reading on the ICBC site, it states a prohibition is considered a traffic violation, so i really dont know. Ive searched, but most of the people who are asking, have had speeding tickets/suspensions.

My friend had a speeding ticket, the cop wrote it down as 120 in a 100, although he said he was doing 130-140, he didnt get suspended or towed, but his road test was not pushed back so im kinda confused. I mostly just want to find out before hand, so i can cancel the road test instead of showing up the day of and finding out i have to wait another 2 years..

Well when ur roadtest comes, and u have ur Licence in ur hand. Then take ur test. If u dont have it then obviously u cant take it. Seems pretty simple to me.

Theres no point cancelling a road test, just dont show up if u happen to get prohibited b4 hand. But if i was u, take ur road test asap and get rid of ur N. Dont be like me and not take it and having to wait 6 years and counting b4 u can actually take it again.

you only have to redo the GLP period if your license gets suspended. and you would receive a letter from the superintendent saying so. and i don't think it would have taken 3 months to get to you, so i think you're kosher.
