shenmecar 01-23-2009 11:08 AM

US prices?

fetched 01-23-2009 11:08 AM

Canadian price

trduhs 01-23-2009 11:10 AM

the funny thing is they still price the 350z cabriolet at 59k

woozzle 01-23-2009 11:15 AM

its like prostitution...the ugly ones have to charge a cheaper price to be competitive

cococly 01-23-2009 11:31 AM

^ROFL. MSRP @ 40k is good value for a 3.7L coupe

People would get used to the rather "ugly" looking new cars.

It's somewhat happening to those who hated the 08+ impreza..

ShyGuy 01-23-2009 11:36 AM

i think the new Z looks better than the old.

vo_hantu 01-23-2009 11:45 AM

recession price?

Roach 01-23-2009 11:48 AM

I think Nissan Canada is trying to reduce the parity between US and Canadian pricing. The US 350Z was in the 30's, while the Canadian version was high 40's and into the 50's.

I'm glad to see reduced pricing for the 370Z. And I agree with ShyGuy, 370Z>350Z.

That's more reasonable than the previous 350z consider US start at $29,900.

Bender Unit 01-23-2009 11:59 AM

very possible

I also wonder why G37 coupe wasn't selling as good as before.
You rarely see a G37 coupe on the street compare to couple year back when G35 introduced.

Cause there are much more better alternatives for 40000-50000 range now.

what's with the "SynchroRev Match Manual Transmission"? Is this a new technology?

I read a little about it on the Nissan's site. When this thing is on, you can just downshift and the computer will do all the rev matching for you. So no more manual rev matching? where's the fun in that :p driving takes less and less skills.....

What do you guys think of this SynchroRev Match MT?

Innovative, but won't make those hardcore fans very happy.

hk20000 01-23-2009 12:32 PM

^ there's a button to switch it off.

Wow, I'm really excited to see that MSRP. I love the new look of the Z and was hoping to buy one for my next car. I wouldn't pay 50g's for it, but in the 40's? Suuuuure! I'll take one in white please.

jdmhaze 01-23-2009 01:28 PM

not feelin the 370z, but for that price its decent.

DavidNguyen 01-23-2009 02:33 PM

wow this over 135i anyday even thought I like the 135i so much!

Rikaro 01-23-2009 03:26 PM

they're pricing it to start at 29,999 in the states. Really good price for a lot of car if you ask me.

I second this. Spec wise, it's impressive for the money. Look wise, well.. you'll learn to appreciate it. It's not entirely THAT bad.

WIth the current economy prices are coming down, that and the 45k range is getting pretty darn competitive. 1st company 2 capture the money wins! On the design note I'm not really feelin' it.

I think it is a great feature if it works as well as they say. Basically the computer rev matches for you on downshifts. So no need to heel and toe.
Turn it on when you are at the race track. Turn it off when just having fun by yourself.

body is nice.. not feeling the fangs
