Gas guage problem silvia

drove my car past week and it was normal. then when i started to hit boost the gas needle goes down the goes back up slowly. Today i boost on the hightway then the needle stayed at empty so i went to fill it up and it only took 20 to fill but my needle is still at empty =( Does anyone know what the problem could be ?

Wiring maybe?I am not to sure since i dont even have a gas gauge
