FS: 1991 CRX Si

goods:
-pretty much completely restored with any and all rust cut out and new metal welded in
-new formula red paint (oem honda color, much brighter than the r63)
-fully rebuilt mini-me roughly 20,000k ago
-jdm headlights utilizing single h4 bulb
-jdm power folding mirrors
-jdm cr-x si front seats
-jdm armrest
-jdm double din stereo bezel w/taurus cupholders
-jdm Si spoiler
-jdm stanley foglights with oem switch
-jdm sidemarkers
-password jdm CF front lip
-power steering installed (disabled ATM)
-air conditioning installed (also disabled ATM)
-generic short shifter w/spoon duracon knob
-neuspeed springs w/oem shocks (2" front 1.75 rear, i think)
-omnipower rear LCA's (not installed)
-EDT traction bar (not installed)
-DA front brakes
-oem Si wheels

the bad:
car was involved in an accident last year and sustained front end damage. enough to be written off. had the frame straightened and full alignment done. safety inspected with some new parts installed to pass. (brakes, tie-rod ends) right headlight and corner marker don't line up perfectly, but could probably be tweaked with some washers. paint on right fender doesn't match perfect either. password front lip was cracked as well and looks kinda haggared
car also needs aircare. should pass fine with a new o2, as i just wanted the 3 month conditional pass and didn't bother changing it.

i will also throw in a set of B swap mounts and fabbed linkage
i've replaced basically every single part on this car since i've owned it. i love this car but would really like something with 4 seats. if it doesn't sell, i don't really have a problem keeping it and finishing it up
price can also be adjusted with parts held back
3500$ open to offers
pics will be up soon. hopefully tomorrow
thanks

Well... I will just point out that some of the incorrect parts were used as the 88-89 cars had the screw in corner lights that go into the fender, where as the 90-91 do not have visible screws holding the corner lights in, they have one screw going into the rad support and 2 slide in clips on the fender.

He is very clear and honest about the fact that it does not look the best, might just be that they used aftermarket parts and a honda oem fender would have lined up perfectly... maybe some washers and some tweaking could get everything too look right... or maybe it would take a frame pull... who knows.

A crx in this condition now a days should still be considered a gem... there is so many out there in such worse condition Good luck with the sale.

+1 for the ford cup holder/coin DIN mod Whats the story with the A/C?

actually, i was faced with the dilemma of either keeping the 90-91 corner markers and usdm headlights or swapping to jdm's but being forced to use the 88-89 markers, as the pods between usdm and jdm are completely different and not compatible at all. since the jdms utilize the entire headlight, with the single h4 controlling both high and low beam, the difference in brightness between them and the usdm counterparts is like night and day. believe me, i love the 90-91 markers, but i figured it was more than a fair trade off.
as for the AC, i installed it last year but it turns out there 2 variations of compressors. the compressor i installed is not compatible with low side line that i had. i have the other copressor, it's just not installed ATM. was gonna do an ls-v anyways, so wouldn't have been keeping the AC.
as for the corner marker not lining up proper, it's really an easy fix. if i end up keeping the car, i'd tweak it all so it looks right again.
for this price, you won't find a crx in as good shape, i guarantee that. as you probably already know, the quarters (among much of the rest of the car) like to rust out. it cost nearly 3000$ just to take care of all of the rust properly, and thats a pretty good price.
in retrospect, the fact that it was written off recently isn't all that bad of an ordeal. on the bright side, it's undergone a rigorous safety inspection because of it

thanks, homes. and in reply to an earlier post, the fender is oem. jdm actually, with the original cut-out for sidemarker. the paint is actually a lot brighter in person. the pics make it look kinda drab. also, dunno if you could tell by the pictures, but swapped out the heavy, matted, gross si carpet in favor of the clean, thin dx fabric.

Please pm me your phone number. When my ITR sells, I will have some interest in possibly buying your car.
