I posted this in the Kintaro thread over in the Food subforum and thought I'd share the news here since there's more traffic.

Clipped it out and scanned from this weeks WE.

I have school and so I can't make it out, but for the rest of you...have fun lining up if you do go!

i'm be going around 130. hopefully the lineup isn't too bad. miso ramen+hampanyaro pork ftw.

even if it is full, i'll probably just end up going to motomachi or yoshoku-ya.

They'll be out by then. Limit 500 bowls; that'll be easily done within 2 hours.

well the seating capacity of kintaro is roughly 30-40 i believe including countertop, communal table and the 2-tops. my average time for waiting for food+eating+paying is about 30-40 minutes if iirc so i can generalize others eat for about the same time so i should be fine. i'm at kintaro every week so i believe my calculations should be pretty accurate

I don't think it says eat in only; that's the only reason I'd say 500 will go quickly.

Hmm.... good point! I thought it was 500 bowls of $2.00 miso ramen, but after looking at it again, I think it says there are 500 bowls of free miso ramen, and the $2.00 specials are available the whole day...
