I have 87,000 km :) Reliability of the VH is good, given it's regularly maintained. The timing chain in early models (mine) is known to fall off due to plastic chain guides, at certain mileage. Something I will change in a few months. Other than that the VH is a very solid Japanese V8 :)

Look up Q45's on NICOclub, there's plenty of info, the Q45 shares most parts.

SpartanAir 01-28-2009 07:27 PM

Wow that's a beautiful Q...I'd love to ride in a 700hp Q!

Berzerker 01-29-2009 08:28 AM

I'll let you know when its all done :D One is being supercharged the other a big shot of NOS!!!! lol I'll be driving the supercharged one at Mission when its all done. He just had the rear brakes modded to fit 13.5 inch Brembo's on them. It was real quick before when it was stock on 7psi but were building it for 17psi now :D

Those wheels look gangster.. are they the stock 20"s from the FX45?

alex.w *// 01-30-2009 10:45 PM

hey i saw your car today at sounds good audio. never knew how long and wide it is in person. Looks uber vip

SpartanAir 01-30-2009 10:48 PM

Hey thanks, getting a nice new alarm installed :)

Ya, it really is a lot longer in person :D

TouringTeg 02-01-2009 12:39 PM

Nice buy. That one has been for sale for a while now. I have considered the white President as well. Love the kit and wheel fitment. I decided I wanted to stick with newer cars though. I bought a white 02 Q45 (F50) in California last summer. Only a few things done so far like Cima grill and Garson glitter shifter.

I am not sure why you want a Momo wheel and GTR suspension. Personally I think you should read up on VSC. Keep it VIP style!

Too slow: Yes those are 20" FX wheels on "Marksports" Q45

B4N M3 02-01-2009 01:45 PM

beautiful car...I've always loved big, boxy, luxury cars

Don't mind me if I'm wrong but that shop opening partially covered by the dumpster.....does that shop specialize in selling those VIP/DUB wheels?

I bought a set of 18s off CL and I seems to have gone to exactly this place to get them....is this on Langley Bypass?

and ooh the 4.5 version with extended wheelbase. I just noticed that. Good job. Sticking a manual in it is so out of character tho... maybe buy the manual bits and keep it aside and install when the auto does fail (probably won't haha)

no. thats in richmond. and that shop in the background is Green`s wheel repair. This is right behind Richmond Motorsports.

Good eye yea those are the stock 20's. Got some deeeeep Dish 22's for summer time though but were going to have to stretch the fenders to fit them. Trying to wrap some 345's around them and squeeze em under the fenders.

Berz out.
