thumper 02-07-2009 02:09 PM

Jun_Y 02-07-2009 05:07 PM

that same exhaust is on a VIP'd aristo driving around town and with the kit that its got on it, it looks pretty nice and suits the kit well

Jun_Y 02-07-2009 05:08 PM

now somebody buy my president and go gangster riding with sparten :D

SpartanAir 02-08-2009 09:54 AM

I've seen the Aristo, I know where he works. Nice car...

Ya cmon people! I wanna see another President on the road!

Jun, you have PM.

AzNightmare 02-09-2009 11:25 PM

Usually I would say that's ugly, but I dunno, I like it. haha

Finally got my JDM headlights delivered, from a company called Panda Garage in El Cajon, California. Probably the only set on this side of the water! Night and day difference in appearance, it finally looks how it should. However, not exactly what I wanted, I want the kouki headlights from the later models. They kept this body style from 1990-2002, and there were minor cosmetic changes. I have the Kouki grille, which is larger and more modern looking, but the kouki headlights were HID stock and just look newer and brighter. Cheapest set I've seen on Yahoo Japan were about 90,000 yen!

And here are some interior shots, very roomy back there :D Keep in mind, both front seats are all the way back! I'll be chopping out that old CRT TV and putting in a new LCD monitor and run it off the double DIN deck I'll be getting soon. Still sorting out suspension issues and waiting on parts...

You'll notice some interior bits are a bit roughed up...I'll be replacing those or cleaning them up in time...

Interior: TV remote, rear climate control and air purifier control, reclinable rear seats, heated rear seats etc. And I installed my MOMO wheel from my GTR

Rolls Royce and Works...

So I work in film and on set this week was a black Rolls Royce Phantom...my god what a beautiful car. I got to look inside up close; the detail and options are insane...

My favourite feature has to be the hideaway hood ornament; when you lock the car it swivels around and hides away...awesome.

Anyways, my President has Rolls Royce inspirations, so I snuck a few pics; too bad the car was tucked in the corner, I could have got some better pics.

Here they are:

Also, I mounted my 18x10 Work XD9's from my GTR :D

Many will not agree with the direction I've taken the car, but to them I say, suck it. I'll say it one more time, I'm not trying to go full VIP, I'm just doing my own thing. I think it looks aggressive and unique, and slightly Batmobile-ish. Thanks to Braden @ JNS for the Project Kics Spacers!

Anyways, enjoy.

Nice dish but.... well I'm not hating at all but IMO those rims don't really suite the car. Need to be BIGGER or.... better color match perhaps Gloss black instead of the matte color? That car screams for Chrome though....

Berz out.

+Kardboard+ 03-18-2009 10:16 PM

Rims look out of place, but still hella nice. Soooooooooo pimp :p

thumper 03-19-2009 05:52 AM

nnooooo.... nice wheels, but wrong look for the car :(

Nice car, I like! The Canadian flags were a nice touch.

How's the turning radius, though...?

SpartanAir 04-11-2009 09:56 PM

Haha thanks guys :) Shoulda seen their faces...

Turning radius is ok, Skyline was a bit better obviously...better than other V8 boats though. I once owned an 81 Olds Delta 88 Royale, thing was a piece...couldn't turn worth a shitty damn.

+1

Still a sexy ass car nonetheless.

crx420 04-11-2009 10:27 PM

dude, i like your ride.

those last pics made me think the wheels suit the car, where the 1st set of pics didnt.

SpartanAir 04-11-2009 11:34 PM

Ya, I really needed some beauty shots to sell them I think. The pic dripping with soap and the driving shot I like best.

stockcivic 04-12-2009 12:21 PM

Oh hell yes those rims suit the car!

shenmecar 04-12-2009 06:50 PM

i bet it was an ex-yakuza car. no doubt about it.

SpartanAir 04-12-2009 11:28 PM

I agree with stockcivic :D He really knows what he's talking about.

shenme, come to think of it, judging on the amount of wear in the interior, especially the back seats, this car was truly used to chauffeur someone around at some point quite alot. Other Q owners have never seen worn out back seats, probably because Q45's aren't private limos over here :)

pintoBC_3sgte 04-14-2009 06:07 PM

saw your car this past weekend. i think around the yaletown area. could be wrong, was all over the place but i know i saw yours. very nice car man

RTS 04-14-2009 08:28 PM

the rims look awesome. i like the whole dark look. chrome is would be tacky ghetto rich.

SpartanAir 08-20-2009 07:58 PM

Latest pics of my ride. Sitting on Tokico Blues and California Customs lowering springs, with Z32 adjustable FUCAs. Front is about 3 inches off the ground. Eventually I'll look at an airbag setup, but I've had to spend money on other things this year so my project is going slower than anticipated. I'm still really enjoying the car, I'll store it over the winter and buy a beater, and install my stereo setup over the winter.
I can't drive anywhere without people stopping me and asking about the car; it's quite the attention getter, more than I anticipated.
Enjoy the pics :)
