Old Skool Love I had a few civic's featured in this months Hondatuning :) check em out :D http://behindthemag.files.wordpress..../10/cvccs1.jpg "Our staff photographer, Henry DeKuyper, recently returned from his trip to the Seattle and Vancouver areas. He came back with some great content from a bunch of locals as well as a couple of cars from A&J Racing, but we were especially stoked over this collection of mint-condition, vintage Honda Civics that he shot. You may have seen a couple of these at one of the SoCal-based Japanese Classic Car Shows over the last few years as these guys have been known to make the trek south for that. Simply put, these things are unbelievable. You think it costs a lot to restore your ’89 hatchback? Think again. Imagine trying to restore something more than a decade older than that. Many of these parts are no longer available from the dealer, which makes the outcome even more spectacular." |
Those are some sick Honda Civics. I love the yellow hatchback and the red wagon upfront. |
Wow, just wow. Always loved your cars dude. |

Once again, you're a great asset to the Honda world. Great cars, great pics, and congrats on another magazine shoot. |
Saw that drop-top rig a few years ago... the trailer is made from the ass-end of a matching Civic. Very cool! |

They're so cute! They look like matchbox toys. One of the owners of the shop I work at hast a chopped 79 hatch rusting out back that he hopes to finish this year. I never liked those cars until I saw one modded. Definitely a unique look. The ones pictured look to be in great shape. Good work! |
always loved your wagon, and loving the red hatch now! |
Nice work Fei Lo. Your car is looking pretty as always!@ |
my car was like....8 cars away from that blue one in the hats off day parade! isnt 1 or 2 of those civics turbod?? |
The 2 tone is Z6 turbocharged the conv was 1.2 JDM city turbo.. now going with a D series with either ITB's or JRSC.. just have to convince the wife  the silver/blue now has my ZC and I've gutted my wagon for either a B series or F22c.. so many choices :( |
omg, that's awesome. I like the baby blue looking one with the darker wheels. Any pictures of the engine bay? |
My mom had a 74 Civic, she bought brand new back in the day. It was supposed to be my first car when I got old enough to drive, but she gave it to my cousin on a sort of loan because he needed a car for something. He ended up selling it, and buying a 80's something Golf. Fuck I was so mad. 792ENV, every time I see your cars I think of that car and what could have been. I probably would never have been into classic Mustangs... |
Those are sum sick lookin civics man! Glad to see your gettin good responses from magazines about your cars. A friend of mine lives up the street from you,and i gotta slow down everytime i pass to see which new cars you have out front. Keep up the good work! Don't let those old civics die out! |
