You biggest problem will be the outbound mail server. Most mail servers won't permit relay (i.e. you sending mail through their SMTP server from an outside ISP). You'll have to keep changing your outbound mail server if you're anywhere but your home or on a wireless connection that's connected to a Shaw server.
It's shawmail as long as you're on the Shaw network. If you're out somewhere else that isn't on the Shaw network, it won't send your outbound emails. (you'll only get inbound emails, and you'll need the FQDN as well otherwise the name won't resolve)
