yayyyy i fucking love this car

family owns an 03 version, roomy as fuck

hoping my parents will soon get the 09 one.

much much better than the camery in case any of you are wondering.

more roomy, better interior, better sound deadening, smooth as hell. aint no performance car thats for sure, a nice quiet cruiser with plenty of room, and im 6 foot 190 pounds. I test drove the 08 TL and 09 TSX, the rear seats have no rooms, not a chance it will fit 3 adults.

ES350 still better tho

I say the Avalon is a better buy unless you're looking for the Lexus badge or that yummy Mark Levinson audio system...

Fully loaded it's still cheaper than the ES350 by a large margin and is bigger on the inside!

havent set in the ES350 yet, but i have drove the new Avalon, very nice and smooth with the tranny and new powerplant 3.5L 272hp

i believe they dropped the price for avalon, used to start around $44g, now it starts at $39, tops out at $44-45

ES starts at $41 but tops out around $48-50 i believe

after u sat in an avalon, u will say fuck camery V6 XLE

alex: i hear u, but price margin is around $6g difference. its like Camery XLE is $36-37g fully loaded, Avalon $44, ES nearly $50g

RWD was pre-95, I think. Current model is FWD. Same chassis as Camry, ES350.

@ Mugen - I just compared the interior volume of the ES350 and the Avalon using Toyota's own comparison tool on their site. The Avalon has a much wider rear seat than the ES350, which is more useful IMO cuz you can sit 3 adults in the back comfortably.

The ES350 tops out @ 52k with the Ultra-Premium Package (Mark Levinson FTW... sounds incredible even in an old LS400!), though some of the stuff there is dubious in usefulness.

u rather have Hyundai over toyota? hmmm

dont get me wrong, Hyundai has came a long way since the 90s.

just like samsung and LG. 10-15 years ago north american were still like WTF is a Samsung product. Back than everyone only recognize Sony and shit

but brand image will always be a Hyundai, not a lexus, not a benz

This car is a great "date" car since it has so much room in the back.

It can easily fit 4 people in the back.
