nice effort. nice car. harsh comments.

Roach 01-31-2009 09:13 AM

You guys are pretty harsh.

I'd rather he be sitting closer to the steering wheel and driving attentively then half of you twats driving like you're taking a fucking nap. The hookers on Kingsway may think you look cool, but for the rest of us capable of seeing our mirrors, you look like a douchebag, and a road hazard.

As for washing in the garage, one can wash their car in the garage with new products like Optimum No Rinse that require the car not be hosed down.

Nice car OP. The pictures could be better. Having a DSLR does not make someone a photographer. He needs some more practice.

you know camera geniuses tend to take great pictures without the need of editing them

We're harsh because we're not his friends, we're his internet associates. Anyways, sitting so close to the steering wheel has negative effects when involved in a crash such as but not limited to increased trauma to the chest, facial damage, and other safety related issues. I'm going to say he didn't adjust the seat either because he's A) a noob B) he didn't want his mom to know he was driving the car because of the altered driving arrangements.

As for your comment about hookers...how the hell did you come to the realizations that hookers think that "gangster leans" are cool? I think that's the least of their worries. And you say we're a harsh bunch! Your "stereotypical" analysis of hookers is much more coarse than the truths deplored from these pictures.

If one is sitting less then 10 inches from the steering wheel there is a risk of injury. From the picture, he is nowhere near that close.

As well, through driving school, the general tip has been that one's wrists should be able to sit on top of the steering wheel. He is within reach of that.

I didn't realize being safe constitutes being a noob or theft from his parents.

So that's the new bundle I've been hearing about!

Buy one SLR and get a camera genius free!

jing 01-31-2009 05:17 PM

I think your genius friend needs to invest in a tripod. If he's "MORE" of a camera genius than you than that's not saying much..

Razr 01-31-2009 06:01 PM

next time you take pictures turn the wheels such that you see the rim and not the tire thread :P

trduhs 01-31-2009 09:59 PM

^ hes showing how NEW the car is with the tire tread lol

BrendanS 01-31-2009 11:26 PM

haha this thread made me laugh. I really don't care what you guys say. But no my mom was fine with it we live pretty close to Kent Ave. where we took some of the pics. So she didn't care, I put an N on just in case but took it off for pics. Keep the comments coming

HondaGuy 02-01-2009 12:37 AM

I admire ppl with a nice flat garage...and so much room space.

BrendanS 02-01-2009 12:42 AM

It's nice to have that for sure...

Amuse 02-01-2009 12:59 AM

some people here post pics of their mom's nice car here but doesn't admit it's their mom's, so good for you

there needs to be more of these photoshoot threads on here, camera genius or not

Yeah I can see why people don't want to admit it. But honestly, I really don't care, so what I drive my moms car. No need for me to have my own car at 16. Plus, if it's free why not right? Thanks for the comment. Trust me, I'll be safe.

We tried to get the camera as still as possible, but it's really hard. We don't have a counter balance or whatever my friend said it was. The shots are sick, but the interiors blurry, didn't turn out as well.
