Red face DAS Vs. NAS

Hi guys

I am planng to get either a DAS or NAS to back up all my data, based on speed which one would you pick ?

(1) Drobo (www.drobo.com/) which is using Firewire 800 and USB 2.0, connect direct to PC USB 2.0 / IEEE1394 port

(2) QNAP TS-209 II conenct to a wireless router and transfer data by Draft N wireless router

Due to physcial set up of my computers, I cannot connect TS-209 II directly to my PC Gigabit NIC Card, so only can tranfer files between NAS and PC via Wireless N

Which one would you pick ?

Please advise ASAP.

Transferring any significant amounts of data by wireless, even N, is going to be slooooow.
