no signal to hdtv

I have a samsung 750, with my ps3 hooked up through component cables works fine.

Then my friend brought over HDMI cables last night to test it out, everything worked well.

When my friend left I hooked it back up using component cables, and the TV does not detect a signal anymore.

Whats the problem here?

fix your PS3 display settings.

change it back to component and that should do the trick.

Yep.

Where'd you get HDMI cables from? There's a good place thats located in richmond. I think they're $12 for HDMI 1.3a cables

You could try a reset:

Power on PS3 via power button and HOLD IT for 5 seconds (release after the second beep). It should automatically configure your PS3 to the TV's native resolution for all settings.
