Which one do you think is more dangerous..... and why

street racing or illegal drag racing?

illegal drags are plenty safe,

drinking and driving and light to light street racing are equally dangerous imo

I think drunk driving is more dangerous. Drunk driving leads to excessive speeding in a lot of cases.

I think in the grand scheme of things though drunk driving leads to a lot more accidents than street racing and usually with a lot worse consequences so I guess my answer is that Drunk Driving is worse than street racing.

I would say drunk driving. Street racing is plenty dangerous but atleast all your senses and reactions are normal, when you're drunk you can't really help what you're doing out there

well a lot more ppl dui than street race...

drunk driving. you're intoxicated and if something were to happen, your reaction would be slower

youre reaction times are way slower when ur DUI so its more dangerous. but street racing is also very dangerous.

They should not have cars at all....

drunk driving is 10x safer i think . you can be drunk and still drive the speed limit and look for danger. if you're pushing your car to the max you have less control even if you are completely sober.

true but when ur street racing ur speed is alot greater....even if ur reaction time is normal, you wouldnt be able to do crap when you lose control at a corner.

oncoming traffic, red lights ....ppl do all sort of things in a street race...

although i condemn both, drunk driving doesn't necessarily have to be about speed.. its about impairment and judgment. yea you're more likely to cause an accident, but at a more sensible speed, and with more risk to yourself than anything

street racing on the other hand... can put control over your vehicle completely out of your command at fatal speeds

To me, drunk driving is worse. Just for the fact, the number of people I know that've been killed by drunk drivers. I've had a team mate in high school and a friends brother killed by drunk drivers that crossed over into oncoming traffic and hitting them straight on and a drunk driver driving onto a curb and hitting a classmate waiting at a bus stop after his shift at work. Worst part was, the person drove off after hitting the guy leaving him to die on the sidewalk.

With all that's happened, I never drive after drinking. I always give it a few hours and a lot of water to sober up before I get behind a wheel.

fyi you are not sober after a few hours or water or coffee or a short nap. if you get pulled over and breath-alyzed you will breathe the same thing.

I guess I should've also said that I don't really drink much anymore. I'll only have 2 or 3 drinks during a night.

Alright looking at this at a different angle, I think drunk driving is the bigger problem. As for safety, which would you rather try to walk across a parking lot full of, street racers or drunk drivers.

drunk driving hands down for me, people who street race are mentally and physically focused on their driving and are ready for any accidents and know they can kill themselves whereas a drunk driver is just doing stupid shit

id say the exact opposite is true. but in both cases it depends on the driver. most street racers are fast and the furious wannabes trying to tokyo drift in their parents prius just waiting to kill some random person. most alkys drink and drive all the time and know how to stay off main roads and drive the limit.

Many innocent ppl died due to street racing.....

either one is pretty reckless, cause anything can happen in both cases. But i'd rather be drunk and driving than street racing too, just cause you dont necessarily speed when you're DIU, you're just impaired judgment-wise. plus, it all depends on how much you drink, too.
however, in reality, i'd go with the yellow taxi if i were drunk. hah
